The Odisha Subordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) is hiring Forest Guards for the Government of Odisha’s Forest & Environment Department. There are 802 positions available.
You can apply online on the OSSSC website, osssc.gov.in, from August 2023. The last date to apply is September 2023.
The selection process has several stages:
- Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Written Test
- Interview
PMT and PET will be in October 2023, the Written Test in November 2023, and the Interview in December 2023.

- Indian citizen
- Passed 10th grade or equivalent from a recognized Board
- Minimum height: 167 cm (male), 157 cm (female)
- Minimum chest measurement: 81 cm (male), 76 cm (female)

- Fill form, upload photo & signature
- Pay fee
- Click “Submit”

Salary:
Starts at Rs. 19,200/month, increasing with service. Includes medical, house rent, and transport allowances.
