BARC, that’s Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, is calling for applications for 105 Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) in cool areas like Physical, Chemical, and Life Sciences. You’ll get this for three years and get Rs. 31,000 every month.
For BARC JRF 2023:
- You gotta be Indian, obviously.
- Need a master’s degree in a relevant subject from a known university.
- Score 60% marks in the master’s degree.
- Having a valid GATE score is a must.
Selection? Here’s how it goes:
- They’ll look at your application and GATE score.
- Then comes a written exam in two parts: GK, math, physics in one; your specialization in the other.
- Finally, an interview to see how you’re with research, talking, and if you’re a good fit.
To apply, go online on BARC’s website. Do it by 31 August 2023.

- Start studying for the exam early.
- Use mock tests to see how ready you are.
- Practice writing answers the way they’ll ask in the exam.
