NMDC Hyderabad Marathon 2023 Results

The NMDC Hyderabad Marathon 2023 went down on Sunday, August 27, 2023, and it was totally epic! There were like more than 25,000 runners who joined in – how crazy is that? The whole thing kicked off at the Gachibowli Stadium and these runners had this awesome route through the city, all the way to the Lumbini Park.

Now, let’s talk winners – these guys totally rocked it:

  • Men’s Marathon: Pradeep Singh (finished in 2 hours, 31 minutes, and 22 seconds)
  • Women’s Marathon: Monica Cheruto (completed it in 2 hours, 50 minutes, and 25 seconds)
  • Men’s Half Marathon: Kimurgor Martin (nailed it in 1 hour, 7 minutes, and 16 seconds)
  • Women’s Half Marathon: Monika Athare (rocked it in 1 hour, 22 minutes, and 33 seconds)

Seriously, these athletes crushed it and made their mark! The whole event was put together by the Hyderabad Runners Society and the National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) had their back as the sponsor.

Oh, and let’s not forget, this whole thing wasn’t just about running crazily fast. It was also about spreading the word on staying fit and being active. Such an important message, right? And the event was such a hit that it’s totally coming back next year – count me in!

Plus, apart from the main marathon, there were some other cool events happening. There was this 10K run, a 5K run, and even a fun run where anyone, young or old, could join the action. Imagine families running and having a blast together – that’s what it’s all about!

Guess what else? The NMDC Hyderabad Marathon is like a superstar on the city’s sports calendar, and it’s only gonna get bigger and better. Some more awesome stuff from the day:

  • The Chief Minister of Telangana, K. Chandrashekhar Rao, kicked things off.
  • Over 1,000 super cool volunteers were there to help out.
  • The weather was kind, no rain messing things up.

So, there you have it, my peeps! The NMDC Hyderabad Marathon 2023 was off the charts. If you’re thinking of jumping into the action next year, make sure to hit up the Hyderabad Runners Society’s website. Keep on running! πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ
