Exam Pattern

  • The commission has decided to conduct the exam in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format.
  • The exam will have Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), which will be objective.
  • Candidates will have 90 minutes to complete the exam.
  • All the questions in a section will carry equal marks.
  • However, if a candidate answers a question incorrectly, 1/4th of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as negative marking.

Selection Process

The selection process includes the following:

  • Written Exam: Candidates are required to appear for a written examination when called by the commission.
  • Skill / Trade Test: After the Computer Based Test (CBT), candidates who qualify will be shortlisted for the Skill Test in a ratio of 1:3 based on their category and order of merit.
  • Document Verification: The shortlisted candidates will undergo document verification after the interview.
  • Final Merit List: At last the Merit List will be issued and the deserving candidates will be placed as per the requirement.

Steps to download the SAIL Admit Card for Attendant-Technician Exam 2024

Candidates who are going to appear for the Written Exam and want to download their hall ticket have to follow the steps shared below:

  1. First, go to the official page at sailcareers.com.
  2. Look for the Attendant-cum-Technician Hall Ticket tab on the homepage and click on it.
  3. Fill in the required details, such as your registration number and date of birth.
  4. Then Click on the login.
  5. The hall ticket will appear. Look for the download button and click on it.
  6. The hall ticket will be downloaded.
  7. Take a print of the same and save it for further assistance.
