Eligibility

Education Qualification

  • Applicants must have completed their 12t in Physics and Mathematics from a board.

Age Limit 

  • The age range for the candidate should be 18 to 22 years old. It means that the applicant must have been born during the inclusive range of September 1, 2002, and August 31, 2006.

Selection Process

There are four steps in the Indian Coast Guard Navik 2023 selection process:

  • Written examination
  • Physical fitness test
  • Medical Examination Round 
  • Document verification

There will be an objective kind of written test. Those who make it through the written exam phase will be invited to the physical fitness test (PFT). Before the written test, there will be a document inspection procedure. Those who cannot provide the necessary documentation will not be permitted to take the written test.

ICG Navik GD Pay scale 2024

Selected applicants would receive basic salary of Rs. 21700/-(salary Level-3) plus Dearness Allowance and other allowances depending on the type of duty and place of posting as per the current regulations. 

With the current pay scale of Rs. 47600/- (Pay Level 8) with Dearness Allowance, there are opportunities for promotion up to the rank of Pradhan Adhikari. Promotion to the Officer level is contingent upon suitability and performance during service in accordance with the relevant rules.
